i ride on tracks and ive posted a few threads and havent got a clear enough answer would i be better off with a yfz450 or raptor 700?i weigh 250# so i need stiffest suspension on a sport quad out there
also what are the weight limits on the:
raptor 700:
trx450:
yfz450:
ltr450:

 

not sure about the weight limits i'm sure you'll b just fine with your weight i'd say the raptor cuz its torqy and its torq that moves mass but then again the raptor is a lil top heavy btu if you do tracks and ur weight a raptor is great

 

If only riding tracks Id go with one of the 450's. The raptor can be made a pretty good track machine but the 450's have the advantage on a track.

if you are going to upgrade suspestion i whould say the yfz450. the engine is proven and easy to get parts for if you need them. if you are going to keep stock suspestion i whould go with a ltr450. it has the best stock suspestion for track and the engine seem very good also. but it has not gone though the test of time like the yfz450. i have a raptor 700 and it does alright on the track but the 450 are much more setup for track riding.

 

ive got a 2003 honda 400ex nowits got decent power but no top end,but i dont need that,do you think it would be better for me to get a set of elkas?or buy a yfz450?

 

buy the yfz450. i dont know what you have done to your motor but the stock or close to stock yfz450 most likely whould beat your 400ex with elka shocks. the engines rev very fast and there suspestion is very good to. if you got the ltr-450 and added a $40 cherry bomb you whould beat the 400ex with elkas for sure. unless your have that 400ex motor maxed out.
