i was wondering if a banshee is worth getting and what type of maintence ou have to do on it. i know how to fix some stuff but i am not that mechanically inclined.

 

what type of riding are you going to be doing? banshee's are very good for drag racing and dune riding. where the shee is starting to lack is in the suspestion department. you have to remember the banshee is a mid 80s frame amd suspestion design. if you do mostly trail riding i whould not recomend this quad. on the maintence it is almost like any quad. being a 2-stroke the top ends are going to have to be rebuilt every so often. on the banshee is cost a little more than most 2-strokes because it is a twin-cylinder but it should not be to much like 300 to 400. and it all depends on how often you have to do this. if you do the right fuel mixture you should get a the least 2+ year on top end and some people i know go 5-10 year on a top end.

 

i am going to use it for street and dirt road riding. and how do you know when it has to be rebuild ? will it start smoking ?
