ok i really dont know that much bout these, but i just bought one used to be a 350x trike but the motor and tranny were put into a 250 r chassis. so the question i have is.
any body wanna lend me their knawelage bout these motors? thanks. btw, im from mass

 

what do you need to know? these have a bigger timing chain than a 400ex and one more gear. they run well if you get them tuned good where they start well. some guy build 1000 of these in the early 90s (250r frame). i have one also. if u have any pictures send me a couple at holman5@socket .net joe

 

ill be taking some pics this weekend, i havent been round much as to being sick. but im back, so this motor is a fairly decent one good running that is. i did notice that its hard to find parts for this bike.
