That's cool. I bought one on ebay for around $75 and it was a flat piece without the side brackets. I removed the two big bolts from the back and put the plate up and mounted it. It looks awesome and is really a heavy duty quality piece. I like being able to tow with my atv.

Looks good. I went out and got one of those 1 1/4" to 2" adapters so I can haul around my hitch haul deal. Not ideal but it works.
Also nice ford in the backround on that last picture.

Here is a link to the 2" receiver that I got for the 04 sporty 700. It is even better looking in person than it is on the ebay add. I highly recommend it.

Yea I did the same as TomK.
MH, dumb question here, but from the pics does
this receiver just cover over the existing 1 1/4 or
do you have to remove it? Also, from the E-Bay
page it was listed as $75.00 little pricy, is that
what you paid if you don't mind me asking?

My 2004 didn't have an existing receiver. I paid $75 for it and felt that it was fair based on the quality and the ridiculous amounts I have paid for all sorts of aftermarket crap for bikes, atvs, snomobiles, boats, etc. Was impressed with the overall fit and finish.

Mud hog..
Yea that's looks pretty cool and I did see that but I wanted to have the hitch higher for more ground clearance.....I gained about 10in. in height above the stock 1 1/4" hitch....

JCDEY025,
I guess that really helps when having to go thru deep water and mud
to get to your hunting spots. A guy last yr in our club had a few big bags
of "deer corn" attached to his hitch haul carrier sat a normal stock hitch rec. height
and he hit a mud whole and saturated the bag and something
happened don't know, it dragged somehow and ripped the bag, CORN everywhere, LOL
Like laying a yellow brick road to the his deer stand, LOL , we were all cracking
on him. Yea, having your setup would of been idea, to help him there if
he had it raised nothing would of happened, well we think NOT, LOL
