the 200SX is a great machine, i ran it since i was, well as long as i can rember untill i was 12 when i was out on a muddy road and my chain slipped and cracked the oil case and i didnt know that untill it kept stalling every 20 yards but it ran the 2 miles to my house, it'll take the abuse he can dish out to it... hope he has fun

I sold a fair condition one two weeks ago in utah for 1400.00. I bought aalmost perfect one last year for 1500. put it in the paper high (like1500) and see if you get any calls. They don't last here in Utah for more than a week if you can find one for sale.

i sold mine 4 years ago for $1100 ($2500NZD).....with new plastics/new topend (i had a wiseco 11:1 piston, which i cooked on a hot day....towing....i think)
mind you i brought it for $720USD
.....that is New Zealand dollars converted back to USD....our exchange rate makes these numbers look good
600ml bottle of coke cola is about $1.50-$1.80NZD over here.....about 60c to 70c USD!
.....what is it in the US

That isn't a bad price for the kind of condition you say it is in. I bought one new in '86 for $1600. One very strong word of caution though. This machine was not a good hillclimber and can flip over VERY easy. Especially with an in-experienced rider. This is not hearsay, I have seen it and experienced it first hand. I would find a good welding shop and see if they can lengthen the swingarm a few inches. In all other respects this was a great little ATV.
