I have a Stage II on my bike and if you are mechanically inclined it is pretty easy. The cams are the easiest thing to put in because you put your engine at TDC and the cam sprockets will only go on one way , so all you have to do is align your timing marks and go. The Stage II also has a dome piston you have to put in or those cams wont do you any good. I paid almost $1500. for the stage II without the pipe and CDI because I already had them. I pulled the whole engine to put the piston in. Woods racing says you can pull the head with the engine in the bike but I couldnt see how! But anyways I really like it, its a real thumper with 11.5 to 1 compression. Be sure to order a new head gasket from Woods because it doesnt come with one.

The Stage I kit includes complete exhaust, modified 45mm Mikuni carb, ported intake, throttle cables, K&N filter, CDI ignition.

The Stage II kit includes all of the Stage I kit plus high compression piston, performance camshafts, and dual valve springs.

The Stage I costs approx. $1400. and the Stage II runs about $2200. I already had a pipe and the CDI box when I ordered the Stage II kit so it only cost me $1500. And believe it! It costs that much. You have to pay to be able to run with the big dogs!! he he

clif,

You can get away with running 93 octane but it runs alot better with the Cam II . Plus Cam II fuel has some lead in it which aids in cooling. I definitally run it when its hot outside. She runs really good. She better cause I got $11000. in it! Thats everything that Ive bought for it including riding gear and 2 sets of sand tires. I wouldnt trade it for the world!!

Stage II parts run about $872.00 - piston, cams, valve spring and (now) head gasket, base gasket and valve guide seals.
