baja90cc

I bought a baja 90 cc over two months ago, and it never worked right since i bought it.......so i call canadian tire they tell me to call arizona...so i do that, they take 6 days to fax a work oder to this small engiine repair that canadian tire has set up for repairs....and they had the baja there for 2 weeks...so 20 some days for a repair inwhich he tells me there was water in the carb.....What bugs me is canadian tire is hiding under the sheets....cause ever since i took this machine out of that store they did nothing for me in anyway......if you bought a car from the local dealer would you have to call the maufacturer and deal with them for help on a car that doesn't....course you wouldn't.
So for the past 2 weeks i'm trying to get a hold of someone in arizona cause it still doesn't work.....doesn't even start for that matter........but i'm not getting andone, and the warranty is up on the 23rd.......for the price i think its a ripp off or maybe i got the bad one out of the group!!!!!!!!!

am i reading this right, your atv was shipped to arizona for repairs and shipped back into canada? wow! let's take this one step at a time, have you check for spark? changed spark plug? have adjusted the valves? have you tried starting it without the fuel cap being on? check for kinks in the fuel line? changed fuel filter? removed the air filter? try these and if you still can't get it runing let us know,

Bummer about all your problems. Im with bill, did you actually ship this quad to Arizona? If you have any wrenching skills follow bills advice and you should be able to get it running. In Ca Baja sells their dirt bikes/quads in PepBoys auto centers. They also only sell the quad/dirt bike and offer no support. If you ask them about parts they say the factory handles all that. I will never understand why a auto parts store doesnt have the ability to stock parts for the quads they sell.

I don't understand this either..Why not sell parts for the atvs you sell?..I'm sure if people knew up front they would get no customer service and parts would be very hard to get they would never buy the baja's in the first place....I wrench on two baja 90s(cousins) to keep them running and its a full time job..The basic engines seem fairly reliable but electrical, brake and chain and loose bolt problems are never ending..Also the plastic gets very brittle after about a year and will break on contact with anything hard....I would never recommend one of these to anyone..For the same money I would buy a used Eton, polaris, arctic cat, bombardier, kasea or any of the Taiwan CVT trans atvs
