That cover is cool. I wander what the effectiveness is for the money. Iffy.

I know LRD has a 12:1 high comp piston also... I was thinking about getting it, but at this point I am going to hold off....... I would rather not have a race/av gas bike....

But it is very cool and exciting to see the stuff starting to show up for the raptor

Ya that cover looks cool but for $80 bucks who knows my PRM skid gives some protection to the filter and for keeping oil temp down, I am not sure how much it would help or how much one needs it. I think it would help for protection keep sticks and rocks from punturing the filer but those filters are tuff. Who knows at least it there for someone who wants it but it seems high in price.

Looks like the piston kit requires the use of race-fuel. What are the pro/cons of race-fuel. Never dealt with it and wondering how much does it cost & will it do any damage to engine components.

i just saw a higher compression kit in a mag for about 100 dollars less. its not high enough to have to run race fuel though. does anyone have one of those filter guards. how does it work. i dont see how it could help it run any cooler because of the exchange between the filter and the guard. i would probably buy one just to stop sticks and stones though.

a 12.5:1 big bore piston...... it brings the cc's up to (if I remeber right) 720cc.... this piston is huge it is 4" in dia!!!! thats the size of a piston in a chevy 350... or very close to the same size....

Well anyway don't know if anyone really wanted to know but I thought it was cool to see
