Default k&n filter-rejet?

I'm gonna be getting a k&n filter for my sp 700 soon. would I need to rejet it? I had heard that I can just richen it up with the carb. which way would I need to turn the screw and how many turns? did any of you guys notice a power difference with a k&n?

They run pretty rich to begin with. You should be alright just to put the filter on and enjoy a little tiny bit more power. I didn't find too much more, but the fact that it's reusable makes it well worth it

cool. thanks. I'm gonna get one tommorrow for it. I've already got an outerwear for it as the previous owner put one on the stock filter. hopefully it'll match up
