Anyone know if 85lbs is good compression on a 06 trx 90? My sons machine has like 12 hrs on it and am getting no power and a won't rev up. It sounds like it's hitting a rev limiter if I give it 1/8 of throttle. I have put a brand new carb on it, Coil, CDI, New fuel spark plug. Air box is clean no mice and the exhaust is OK also. I am a Auto mechanic by trade, But this ones got me stumped. Here is a video of what it is doing, But now it won't rev like in the video it. Have you removed the air restrictor on the airfilter? It is a black round rubber cap with a penny sized hole in the middle of the cap. I think this cap was put on by Honda to be one of two speed restrictors and it really limits your air intake.

 

Thanks for the reply, But I found the problem it was a bad stator and flywheel.
