Default 450R water in tranny oil

I am in the process of replacing the water pump seals on my '04 450R.
On the last ride I ended up with water in the tranny. Anyone else have a problem with this?

First time I have heard of that one I think. I monitor the dirt bike forums as well for things like this, and don't think I have heard of it before.

Did the oil emulsify? Was it so compromised that you might have done bearing damage or anything like that?

Don't think I did bearing damage. Hopefully not, but yeah, it was like a pink milkshake.
Doesn't take much moisture to do that, though.
I am replacing the clutch.

There is an inner and outer waterpump seal. sounds like the inner seal is bad. seen it happen many times. easy fix.

I have done it, didn't know you didn't know. Change the bearings, I didn't first try. After buying the second 32$$$ seal the bearing was sticky. I figure I hurt the bearing pulling it, to change that kicker cover.

Didn't know your seals went bad. Just thought you broke the side case. I was able to tap the bearing out from the other side so I didn't put any pressure on the bearings themselves and I didn't even put a mark on the race. Bearing has no stick to it at all.
If they have a bearing in stock I'll get a new one but I don't have time to wait another week for it.
