i need some help

Default i need some help

i own a 2001 yamaha warrior 350. it wont start, alls i hear is a clicking sound, the battery is good and i have tried bypassing the solenoid. can anyone give me anymore tips.it

I had the same problem as you. It's probably the starter. Here's 2 things you want to try. First try tapping the starter with a hammer lightly and start it up at the same time. Then try kicking it into first, shaking it back and forth as hard as possible, put it back into neutral and this time it should turn over. But I'm 99% sure it's your starter. It might just be because it has a lot of oil in it, try taking it apart before spending money.

That means it's the starter. Take it apart and look for oil, if there is some clean it out, if not then you probably need a new one. You can get one of them for a good 50-70 bucks.
