Default 400ex Exhaust

i have a completely stock 400ex. I'm going to buy my first aftermarket part. It's going to be an exhaust pipe. Money is a problem. But i have about $400. should i save up and buy a full system or just go with a slip on? I've been looking out the dr.d and big gun evo x. and some white bros slip on what do you think?

Watch the outlet store at www.denniskirk.com. My bro picked up a white bros slip-on there for about 50% off.

I would do an FMF PowerBomb header and Q4 muffler. Not sure if that is within your price range, if not I would just do the Q4 slipon.

It is also very important to mod the air intake when you do an exhaust! If you are still stock, I would do the ProDesign (ProFlow) adapter and foam filter (avoid K&N like a palgue!), and remove the airbox lid or better yet the EHS Racing lid with Outerwears cover.

And of course a rejet.........
