Default yamaha warrior

i'm trying to fix my warrior to sell it, and i was wanting to take the top off and check everything. can i take the top of the motor off without removing it?

What needs fixing and what do you want to check? You can take the head off without removing the entire engine. If the engine runs good and doesn't smoke, there really isn't anything else to check except you could do a compression test to check the cylinder walls and piston rings. But you can do all of that with the engine together.

hmm i dont know if u can get a torch wrench in there to retorch those head bolts, but not sure hehe
