To start, yes I know all about the Chinese stuff. My In laws are a dealer for Jackel, SunL and Kazuma. I sometimes serve as a mechanic on weekends doing assembly and fixing customers machines.

He just got in some "Panther" 110 automatics, and I had to look. I believe they are more SunL than anything, but new name. The one I picked up for my son who will be close to 5 years old by Christmas, when he will get it, is called on some sites the "Lance Mini Hammer" It has racks front and rear, dual headlights, dual tail lights, remote start and kill, the normal useless alarm and disk brake in the rear. It has the large 16" tires that are uncommon on the little bikes and helped me make up my mind. It tracks wider and felt much more stable in turns.
With my family and mechanic discount, I got it for $300 bucks. Now to keep it a secret from the boy until Christmas!

I had found the same machine and wanted some opinions on it. I am especially interested in how well it grabs and can climb hills. As you not the 16" tires are a real plus.

If you happen to find out how it does on the local steep hills, let me know.

Forgot I made this post :-) I will just say that it hauled my 180 pound butt around pretty good on the flat surfaces of my back yard till the wife came out and told me to stop playing with the boys present. Wont know about hills until after Christmas.
