Default 2004 Raptor 660r problem

replace my stock clutch with aftermarket had to cut one of those wires that was with the stock setup, road it for awhile and before long these wire touch the fame and made the rev, limiter kick on.. took forever to find the problem plus before this happen i overflow the oil like a noob.. back up into the air box.. I clean the carb's etc.

Here the problem, wants to die after i ride.. mid,top is fine lowend or coming to a stop want to die out.

Notics the choke cable was alittle loose, mess around with it, finally I took it undone from the handle bar to see if that would help and no it didn't

Dumb question perhaps, but have tried to adjust your idle speed?

Sorry rn, but its very hard to read between lines that don't make any sense. You have stated several unrelated issues. Relative to the "die after I ride " issue, you have given very little supporting information regarding the circumstances. As of this point, all I can suggest is that you somehow caused the problem when you "clean the carbs, etc."

And I don't understand why you would have to "cut one of those wires"... which wire was it, and did you reconnect afterwards? There are no wires that require cutting for an aftermarket clutch installation. And what does overflowing the oil have to do with anything here? Is your aircleaner now clean and free of that oil spill?

I hope you can see our confusion here as to your problems. Is there any other information you'd like to share with us to make the troubleshooting easier than just forcing us to "read between the lines" or as an exercise in extra sensory perception?

sorry about the confusion of the problem, thought the oil back thru the carb may had something to do with it.. i clean the filter etc.. clean the carb it will run good for about 30 min then run very poorly after that only on lowend / stoping if i let it sit for a min it begin to idle fine.. again sorry about the confusion

So repeatedly after 30 minutes it doesn't run well at ANY RPM and then returns to ok after a rest? Or 30 minutes after cleaning the carb this problem began and has persisted since? Obviously we have a language problem.

I doubt the oil came "back through the carb". It likely came through the crankcase vent which terminates in the air box.

What wire did you cut (color and function, if you know) and have you reconnected it?
