I was at the local dealer today, getting ready to buy a new Kodiak. When I said that I wish Yamaha would update the Wolverine, the owner of the shop suggested I wait until the end of the month. They have a meeting on the 23rd where Yamaha is announcing a new Quad. I asked if it was an updated Grizzly, and she didn't think so. She felt it would be something sportier. New Wolverine???

 

Wow, that' sthe first I've heard about that, but now you've got me curious. I'll have to go the local dealer to see what I can find out.

 

The Wolverine is a 4X4 version of the Warrior. Maybe the new quad is a 4X4 version of the Raptor. Just a thought...

 

A recent issue of Dirt Wheels said something about a new Blaster, with a four-stroke, of course to please all of the whining treehuggers.

 

I don't think anyone be whining about the tree huggers if that's true and Yamaha decides to replace the Blaster engine with the new YZF250 engine...

 

That is what i heard also. I think it's a smart move by Yamaha. It's obvious that we don't have enough clought to change the mindset on two strokes, but until they get rid of cars all together, four stroke atv's have a future.

Anyway, I was at the dealer yesterday and priced a Raptor. Add a 4x4 system and everything and I think the price would give me a heart attack.
Sure would be nice to have though.
The Wolverine is a Big Bear bottom end with a Warrior top end.. Maybe they could do a new quad with the bottom of a Grikkly and the Top from a Raptor. Can you imagine how much fun that would be??

 

What about the new grizz that was coming out.

 

i am hoping it is the new griz, i want to wait and see what polaris comes out with, but i have a grizzly and would probably just trade it in on a new one
