Default Proper grease for Yamaha raptor 660 fittings

Can somebody tell me the proper grease to use for the grease fittings on a 02 yamaha raptor 660?Should it be Yamaha grease? The clymer manual confused me by saying there were different types for different components. Also, how often do you do this service on yours?

Just go buy a new grease gun and some white lithium grease for it. I have a grease gun that is specifically for my quad. The white lithium grease is more water resistant than other types. How often you service the stuff is up to you, it depends alot on the conditions you're riding in. If it's a lot of water/mud, obviously you should grease more often, same goes for sand. Dusty, dry conditions don't require it as often. It only takes a couple mins to do the entire quad so it's not that big of deal.
