Default what are the best mods for the price?

I have an 06 350 raptor. I want to mod it, but I don't know where to start. I know most people will just sumply jet the carb, and get a slip-on. I want to raise the compression ratio, but it is an air cooled engine. will I have problems with low-speed trail riding with the higher compression making more heat?

You can run the JE 10.5:1 ratio piston and still run pump gas with no heat problems. I've had 2 Warriors (same engine) with this kit and never had a problem....they are very reliable and add good power gains. I have the 446 stroker kit in mine now and still don't have any problems with overheating on tight trails or just setting there idleing.

Do you think that mod will work on the 06 Wolverine 350? Since it is supposed to be the same motor? Just for kicks, what did that do for bottom end...

They have a kit specifically for the Wolverine. This piston will add good bottom end and mid range power and will get the revs up a lot faster than stock. You can click here http://www.fourstroketech.net/ and click Yamaha and pick your bike to see a full line of products they offer. Vito's also has kits for the Warrior for less money.

thanks for the advice guys, but the day after I posted this, I let my wife drive, and she drove us off a train bridge and totaled it. she cracked 2 ribs, needed stitches in her head, and I cracked 2 bone stems on the right side of my lower vertibrea. we're all right now though.
