Had a little "incident" with my 06 700 Sportsman. Since I was replacing all the ugly green plastic anyway (along with a bunch more stuff, don't ask), I figured I'd bump up to the 08 pretty red painted plastic.

It's now been three weeks since it was all ordered, and the dealer said he still didn't know when it would be shipped; backordered, backordered, backordered.

I think I read something about production problems with the new painted plastic? Can't they turn out enough?

anyone know?
