Best Raptor 350 tires?
#1
I do mostly trail riding, and some mud with my raptor 350. I usually get a set of maxxis razors on my quad, but this time I thought, why not try something different. Like i said I ride through some mud and trails, I like getting good traction off the line and not slipping and sliding, but heres the thing, around turns, I wanna get a good sliding effect when I am coming out of the turns. Any suggestions? These tires will go on the stock rims.

Holeshot GNCC's - VERY good traction, 6 ply, heavy duty, and still fairly lightweight, will put those razrs to shame! The I-Razr's look like they might be good, but I don't know how much they weigh. You need the strongest tire possible for trail riding and the lightest weight possible to help that 350 out all you can.

Alright I will check them out thanks, how are they in the snow? Good sliding power?
Jeez there a lil pricey lol, you know any where to get them cheaper then rockymountainatv?
Also what size tire can the stock rims take? Rear and front? You can go bigger than stock right?

ITP GNCC's or XCR's are my picks. They are both 6 ply but not overly heavy.
You can go taller and wider than stock you just have to get the same diameter as your wheel.
Most aftermarket choices will be 1 inch wider on back and maybe 1 inch taller in front.

i just put mudlites on my 350 warrior, and they are great, the extra ground clearence is awesome especially on a sport quad. went down a path that i got stuck on the other day and i just breezed right through it with the larger tires.
check em out all four only cost me 245.00 brand new!!!!

My current setup is:
Front: 22x7-10 Holeshot XC, 6 Ply(XCT's weren't out yet when I bought them back in 2000...don't ride much anymore)
Rear: 22x11-9 Holeshot XCT, 6 Ply
These are by far the best tires I've had on this machine, which has included Razr's, Shredder's, and some oddball Carlisle's.
If you do alot of trail riding, you're well aware of how poor the ground clearance is at the rear of a Warrior/Raptor. I had the 20x11-9" Shredder's and Razr's which meant I was constantly getting hung up. It's simply amazing at how much difference the added 1" overall a 22" tire will make. I have ZERO plugs and no leaks in any of the four tires. ITP is where it's at!! I've got alot of miles on the fronts and they still have 1/4" tread depth left on them. The rears bite well and go great in mud/hardpack/loose stuff.
They are just good all around tires.

Thanks for all the help guys, I think I have narrowed it down the the ITP GNCC OR THE ITP XCR.
Which ones are better? Better trail/mudding, more sliding power better grip?</end quote></div>
I think they are pretty equal. I have the XCR's and a buddy has the GNCC on his 450. I think they are close enough to pick on which you like the looks of better. The GNCC's are a tad bit lighter I beleive.
