There are a couple of questions that I have never seen a post about. The first one is about cutting plastic. I have seen a few Samblers with their front plastic cut and I would really like to do this with mine. I think that it is a really nice looking thing to do with your bike. And another thing is about Hotseat Performance plastic. Has anyone bought any of this plastic and do they like it? I talked to my dealer and he said that people have had a lot of problems with after market plastic not fitting right. He said that if I wanted to get new plastic it would best be from Polaris. Is this true? Thank you for your help.

You can cut plastic with a hacksaw blade clamped in a pair of vise-grips or if you are careful, a jig saw. Cut a hair 'big' and sand down the edgw smooth and to exact size. Just remember, once you cut there is no going back.
