i just got a new 2006 blaster and need some mods. I want maxxis razers but i got on their website and they had maxxis razr mx. What is the difference between the 2? Also i would like to put pipes on it. What will a FMF Fatty head pipe and a powercore 2 silencer do for me? PLEASE HELP

 

i hear that the toomey power kit is the best for the blaster its kinda pricey but for a stock bike thats gonna net you the smoothest usable power band you can get. as for wheels and tires... you can find them anywhere i find this place to be quite fair on price and selection

razor 2 are better but reg razors are ok too...do not get i razors they wear fast

 

mx razrs have rounded edges so they slid better than the razr. also id put toomey exhaust, vforce reeds, jet kit , and uni filter.

 

do you mean they slide through corners better . . . . . . . . also how much is a toomey head pipe and silencer is a fmf fatty and a fmf powercore 2 a good combo

yes thats what i mean they slide around the corners better. and id go with toomey better performance and better sound. also id think the rappy would be a little faster

 

the toomey pipe kit i found for $360 but it comes with pipe, silencer, jet, ands its own high flow air filter, theres probly some thing else im forgeting but im gettin this pipe as soon as i get the money for it but i think the blaster would beat a 250 raptor cause the blaster is at the top of its class when it comes to speed cause of its low weight

 

www.toomey.com the pipes are 350.. and if you go to rockymountainatv.com and type in your bike and all that and go to exhaust systems you can get stainless ones for like 315 or something..

 

I believe Razr MX's are 2 ply, where the Razr's are 4 or 6 ply. 2 ply is not very durable for trail riding, but will be lighter than the 4 ply to help you get up and go.
