Going to look at a 95 blaster tomorrow for my son, are there any know trouble areas with this model that I need to be aware to look for before purchase?

A Blaster is what it is. If taken care of they will last forever. If abused and not maintained they will fall apart real quick. You should be able to look at it and tell if it has been taken care of. Check the brakes. Pre '03 Blaster brakes suck - bad! New pads will last about 3 rides on them. May want to check the rear axle bearings, sprockets, and front wheel bearings and a-arm bushings. Just for comparison, my buddy just bought a clean, stock '03 Blaster for $1000 that only needed rear tires and 2 $15 chain adjusters.
