New to the ATV world. Is this a good deal?

A month ago they were going for $7,999 in my area, even cheaper in other areas. Don't consider the winch and mag wheels extras, they come standard on the Deluxe model. Still a decent price at $8,400.

 

This is the last one available I can find. Dealer said that he was selling these for 10K.

I really like the X2, and the 800 is the biggest engine Polaris makes.

It does come with a free 2 year warranty.

Last wheeler I had was in 1993, Polaris Trail Boss 2x4 250.

I paid 9600 11 months ago. I say if you cant find one anywhere else go for it and don't sweat it. I would think these new may be hard to find. I love my X2 800.

Maybe you can go in with an offer of 8000 and see if he bites. That woud be out the door.

 

I bought my 07 800 X2 Standard for $6250 out the door. I know, it doesn't have the fancy aluminum wheels, or the winch, or the ADC. I would think the delux3e could be had right now for around $1000 more.

 

Might just jump on the opportunity Muddy. The 2 year warranty is worth a few hundred alone. You'll love the bike I'm sure.

 

Really depends on the dealer and how bad they want to get rid of it. If they have 08's in already they might be able to be in a better position to deal. Maybe 7500.00 would be better.

 

I went ahead and picked it up. I hope it is a good bike.
