Hayashi,

I replaced the front cv boot on my 650 and when I did I serviced the CV joint and reinstalled and when I put the tires back on it and let if off the jack the CV joint pops out of the gear box about a 1/2 inch and will not stay engaged. I disassembled and reassembled 2 times putting new C clips on the end of CV shaft before installing. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what can I do to fix this. I need some help with this

 

Is the joint moving like it should (extending and collapsing) ? is it fully seating in the diff ? It should lock in place when pushed in far enough. Is the snap ring groove clean have dirt or remains of the clip in it? I'm just thinking out loud.
