Hi all.
Just picked up a 4-Zinger from a buddy. It runs good for about 90 seconds, then dies. Let it sit for a few minutes, does the same thing. The guy I got it from told me it would do that. It is like it runs all the gas out of the carb, but when it dies I unscrew the bottom screw on the carb and there is plenty of gas. Any thoughts?

carb might need to be rebuilt, or replaced, I had a problem with mine dying and the carb was actually worn out, and you could not run it on anything but choke for over just about 90 seconds

 

do the basics first,, clean the air filter, making sure not to over oil it, go very lite on the airfilter oil, change spark plug, change fuel filter and fuel line, empty the fuel tank and refill and then make sure the vent in the fuel cap is clear.
