my 01 660 raptor is making knocking noise and viberates bad... help
my 01 660 raptor is making some kind of knocking noise i have a weisco 100mm piston in it,lrd full pipe, jetted, stage1 cam 14t front sprocket. The noise is not the piston, could it be the crankshaft beaings? it is also viberating bad when rpms go up i think it is related to the noise

Friend of mine had the same symptoms with the exact same piston/build. After he tore it down to see what was going on he discovered the piston had a crack below the wrist pin.............
