Replace CV boot/get service manual 2001 scrambler 500

I need to replace one of the front CV boots on my 2001 scrambler 500 4x4.

Is there a lot involved in removing all that is needed to get to it (it looks like there is!!!)?

Also - anyone know where I can get a good service manual for this quad?

I looked on Ebay and some other places and it looks like they only made books for 1997-2001 and 2004-2006!!!!

Replace CV boot/get service manual 2001 scrambler 500

You can get the manual from your local polaris dealer. I have a factory service manual for my 2003 Scrambler 500 HO 4X4.

Anyone?

It is the front right outer boot.

I saw some posts about sportsman boot replacements but non for a scrambler. Are they similar?

I would like to do it this weekend.
