Hi all,

I picked up a Yamoto ATV 110cc today with a "won't start" problem. Two things I've found so far are starter won't operate off switch but does run if you jump two posts on a frame mounted relay, and 2) when it is cranking there is 1 brief spark on first crank and then no spark on continued cranking.

Anyone have a wiring diagram for a Yamoto? This one was in boxes before according to the guy I bought it from and he must have missed something when he put it back together. Do Yamotos have any other 'kill' switches besides the one on the handlebars?

you can try the wire diagram that I made in my profile... on mine I had to add some soder to the starter button to allow for better contact. with out it you had to hold the start button and push hard and wait.

On the rear bumper is there a kill switch for a tether?

 

I already printed out your wiring diagram after searching the forum : ) , gonna try that today. My sons quad has the rear tether kill switch , I dont see one on the yamoto but that doesn't mean there isn't supposed to be one. I'm thinking about hacking together a new basic wiring harness bypassing all the lights and switches to see if the thing runs.
