this is my first atv picked it up used 2 weeks ago. so far I cleaned the carb replaced spark plug and all fluids installed a new winch replaced the belt went through hell resetting belt light now it seems to be hitting a rev limiter kinda cuts out. is it time to take it to the dealer. I also ordered a service manual but ETA is late Jan

 

You may have not reset the belt light correctly. Is your belt light flashing? If so, it is doing what it is supposed to. What's approximate speed when you feel the rem limiter kicking in?

 

Did you reset the sweith right inside of the belt coer. If that is tripped, youll be in limp mode.

 

I fliped the switch inside the cover to the rear did the reset and the light is not blinking now
