JetMoto 250 Pics...

Ok, here are some pics and a vid. I fixed the float problem by tapping on it, and dropping it while idling. That seemed to do the trick. Rode it for about 15 minutes, and it idled for about 45 tonight. ONE drop of gas down the overflow tube. I can live with that. The pics are in sequence. The first is as it was shipped, with the handlebars installed, and the back wheels unpacked from the sides.

The second is after setting up the front suspension and installing the front tires. Pretty nice components for the money.

The third is a shot of the new rear suspension setup. There are a couple better ones later.

Here it is at about 90 percent completion, minus bumper and grab bar.

Another from the front at about 90%

Here is the completed bike, after fixing the float.

OMG, is that a Nerf bar? Yep, the welds are not the prettiest, but they are sturdy.

Another shot

Ok, better shot of the new rear setup. I like it, it feels soft, but not too soft.

Shot of rear mount from beneath swingarm.

Right side Nerf bar.

Rear end, showing whole setup.

Showing front components, shock and brake.

Embroidered logo on seat, nice touch, don't know if it will hold up though.

A comparison shot next to my 660R SE. Looks like a Blaster sitting next to the beast.

And finally, some ear candy...

For the most part, I am tickled with it. I want to mod the turning radius stop, as it does not turn enough for my taste. I am not a fan of the front bumper, so if anyone has one off of a 150 or 200 they will trade for it, hit me up. The welds are not that pretty, but I can live with them. After all, it is a $2K +/- quad. The battery is junk and will be changed as soon as I can get another one. I have not broken it in yet, so I cannot tell you about performance. I am going to pull the fiberglass and that god awful perforated tube out of the muffler, and have my buddy spot weld a washer in there for a little bit of back pressure which should help with the low end torque a bit.
I like the clutch on this. SUPRISINGLY GOOD. Very smooth shifting transmission, again, I am shocked at how good it is. The yellow letters on the tires is a nice touch, and I liked the fact that I could flip the rims to get some extra width as I ride pretty aggressive and like to powerslide curves. This should help with stability. I hate the handlebars. I will have some new ones as soon as I can get them. Overall, seems like a bargain. MILES away from other Chinese stuff I have seen for sale locally.

Video works but no pics, wait I just left this thread and then came back and the pics popped up!
Looks great in the video and sounds good, these are great running motors! I do like the Nerfs, are they the same Nerfs as other Chinese brands anyone (a lot of parts seem to be universal)? I love the new seat over mine! Wish mine had them!
Thanks for the vid now figur them photos out or just post their www URL, we can click and see um!
Looking at the pics the swing arm is exactly like my Jet 250, they have made no changes and seeing you must be a experienced rider I would mod that rear swing arm shock mount or it will break on you when you come down hard and it may not be pretty. Also the rear sprocket bolts need to be replaced, they will come lose and can shave off and go into the bearings. Those are the only two big mods you will want to do.

You know I had never even thought about installing the wheels inside out, I actually like the look of the deep dish, I think I will swap mine when I get um back out! I also had reservations of the bumper and I liked the 150's (but it's Chromed) better, but it has grown on me to where it's not a big deal now!

Well, I finally got to ride it for a while today. I got the carb straightened out. Let me tell you this, I can wheelie this bike at about half throttle without dumping the clutch. It is not a long wheelie, but I can get the front end a good ways up. After about another two hours, I will change the oil and stand on it some. I am already thinking about how I can get more rpms out of this little motor. Probably going to have my friend pull the head and port and polish it.
What kind of MPH did ya'll say you were getting?
