Default American Eagle Plow System

Does anyone have any time behind one of these, or know anyone that has one? Want to get a plow, and this seems to be a verry cheap way to go over say a warn plow system? Any info on any reason why I shld or shld not get this one. This will be my first one looking at a 54". DOnt care so much about time it will take to mount or dismount the plow for will be doing it once a year lol.

I had never heard of it, but just reviewed their website and their prices don't look particularly cheap. You might want to review all the past "snow plow" postings and see what the consensus is as to the best, then shop around for the best price. That's what I did, and I just ordered a Moose 60" County plow with mount and push tubes for a good price, comparable to the prices listed on the American Eagle site. My .02.

A friend of mine has an Eagle plow on his Bomb 800 and I used it a few times. It works ok, but the plow mount uses an A frame and after half a season last year the A frame spread open allowing the frame to fall off the mount when pushing anything at an angle. Now there is a ratchet strap holding the A frame squeezed together.

Personally I like the Glacier 2 plow from Polaris. You don't lose any ground clearance, and the blade lifts really high. The key for plowing is to keep pushing the snow over the banks and the more lift of the plow the more you can push over. Typical mounts will only go as high as the frame and the blade stays low. Just something to think about.

I have almost $800 CDN into my G2. That was the mount for the bike, the harness to go from the mount to the blade and the blade itself. I have the 60" two-way Razer blade and I love it. It was really expensive but the quality makes it worth it to me.
