Paddles on a 50?
#5
I put some geko paddles on my sons unison 50.
It kinda bogs it down because its stock but he can get around
as long as its not too soupy. THe more packed the sand the
faster he can go. If we upgraded his quad it would help but then
it ruins the reason for having a 50, I'd just buy him a 110 and leave
the 50 stock for his youger sister.
The soupy sand was at Pismo and Oregon, At sand mt and dumont he was alot faster.

Yeah I thought our 50 was quick too, on dirt. I weigh 300 lbs and I can ride it on pavement down the street and get it up to 25. But sand is a whole different story.
There just isnt alot of torque to get it going off the start. I was thinking of putting a cdi and pipe on it but dont know if the $500 is worth it.

I normally don't dogg out anybody's tires, or bikes or anything but the little geckos for the small bikes are crazy heavy and most times kill the power of a 90 and even more so the 50s. A better choice would be the skat trac tires or even sand stars which are slightly heavier. The 18" geckos are REALLY heavy.
