Question for Backcountry/ Rotax 670?
#1
This question is for Backcountry or any others knowledgeable on the subject:
I recently bought a Banshee with Arctic Cat cylinders and crank from an El Tigre snowmobile mated to the banshee tranny and am looking into the Rotax 583/ 670 snowmobile motors as an upgrade... the Arctic Cat runs well, but in the past twenty years snowmobile technology has come a long way; powervalves, aftermarket parts, etc.
My question is, do you or anybody else know who is capable of these conversions? I've heard that Sharp Tool in Utah, which built Krankenstein and Rudy Kurtz's 670, is no longer doing these conversions. Any help/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
