Went riding over Thanksgiving to a place called Ocatillo Wells. Had a great time,we loaded up and as best as we can guess my wife put a smoldering log on the trailer. We were realy lucky, had 25 gal. gas,2000 xr650r,1999 cr125,and 89 lt500 on the trailer.could have lost it all and the motorhome. The DS was the only bike hurt.( It is actually my wifes bike however she has not pertisipated in the rebuild ) We are at the put back togeather stage $3000.00 I hope we have all the parts but I know better.

Wow, all of that over the cost of saving a small piece of firewood. I feel for you. It seems like she should be doing ALOT of the rebuilding since it is 'her' bike and 'she' put the smoldering log on the trailer.
Ocotillo Wells is awesome - one of my favorite places to ride. I used to Live in Orange County, CA but now I live in Los Angeles, rather near Gorman (Hungry Valley - like 30 minutes away.) Now Ocotillo Wells is about a 4 hour trip so I don't forsee myself going there a whole lot. We are planning on making a trip down there on about Feb 2,3,4 to join in on the "Off-Road for Hope III" event that benefits the MDA. It's a pretty amusing event and is something else to do.
