they all will do it in the right situation. if you think about it, when you go forward the rear end squats and puts pressure on the rear wheels to give you traction. Now when you go in reverse the rear wheels want to lift up, the front squats, which in return makes you lose traction so you wheel hop. any time i think this might happen i will lock it in 4 wheel drive so i dont ruin the drive train.

yeah its normal but dont keep doing it if you can avoid it. mudslinginfool is right on. you keep doing that and youll damage your drive train 27's are alot of tire for a 400 in the first place granted it looks awesome by the way. i have a 400 and it doesnt look that bad ***. but you will damage drivetrain components

I have a 07 400 and it did it somewhat with the stock tires and it really got bad when I put on some executioner tires. I believe it has alot to do with the amount of traction your getting more than anything (IMO). I just take it easy on it when it starts that crud. How does your 400 pull those 27s and what is the true size of the tires (or what do they measure on your quad)?

well i thought that was the obvious answer but i went over to the ac site and under the utility models it lists "500 4x4 Automatic M4" same with the 700, no 400 M4 listed though.

The tires look great are they heavy? My 400 is red also I think the 400s are the best looking of all arctic cats and I love them in red or the green. Wish I would have got the 27s but they will have to wait till next time.
