Does anyone have any pictures of a silver Sportsman 500? A friend of mine is thinking of buying a silver 2000 SP500 with 125 miles, extened rack kit, winch, hand guards, tri fold ramp, cover, and extended fender kit for $6,600. Is this a good deal or should she try to find a silver HO and add all the goodies herself? Any help with do where as I do not know much about the SPs. thx

That sounds like a good deal to me, as long as the quad itself is in good shape. I like the silver sportsman, it's an awsome quad.

I guess you'd need to figure out what all the options are worth. I bought my 2000 SP500 new in November for $5,695.

$5300?? u sure about that?? if thats true he got a REALLY good deal.
i dident think the dealers would dicker that much on the price on the silver ones because they were not as common.

$5300 for a '01 SP500HO??? Must have been a going out of business sale. That's about $1000 less than a really good price. You sure it wasn't the Magnum 325? That is silver .

I do not know about a 2001 SP 500 for $5,300. Does not sounds right. I paid $5,650 for SC500 and the SP500 is a hell of alot more quad than the SC. Who knows maybe he did....

i think scramblerjet is just having fun with us, cause we all know that what he is saying is not true. no way is a dealer going to advertise a silver sp500Ho for $5200.
