Default Is 2006 YFZ better than 2005?

I am looking to purchase a YFZ450 and I am wondering how much better is the 2006 compaired to the 2005, or if there really is no difference. Thanks for all the help.

I believe it was over 80 changes and improvements from 05 to 06, not the least of which being a displacement bump and oiling improvements. The 06 IMO is worth a few extra coin.

def. worth it...but even more worth it to get the '07 because it has another oil jet for squirting the wrist pin/crankshaft where the main engine problem was in the 03-06. If the 07 is outta the question, like maddog56 said, 06 is def. worth the extra pennies, i rode both, i believe the 06 has a little more torque in the bottom end. Also 05's were 430ish-cc or so...and the 06's are 448cc.
