Default Yfz 450 When will it change?

Any speculations or supposed secret insider info on when or what to expect from Yamaha next for the 450?

No insider info here, but I think it would be a safe bet that the 09 YFZ will receive a major overhaul. It has had 4 model years of refinement but I think Yamaha is likely looking to incorporate some of the features the rest of the class is beginning to have.

I am guessing they will switch to fuel injection sometimes soon and hopefully they will change the exhaust system to something that doesn't way 30lbs and the make the intake boot less restrictive. I think they may do a little bit a frame refinement and figure out a different sub frame setup. Thats all I can see them doing.
