are they any good from your experience?

 

My experience has been the warranty is only as good as the dealer you take it to. Sometimes the factory will not want to honor the warranty, and a good dealer will do all he can to get it covered.

And trying to go directly to Polaris and getting them to override a dealers decision to not honor something under warranty is an exercise in futility.

 

Problem seems to partially due to the length of time it takes Polaris to pay the dealer for warranty work and parts. Sometimes as long as three months. So whatever the dealer warranties, he will be out of pocket till he is re imbursed. So choose a good dealer.

 

i am not a fan of polaris warrenty..i had a balljoint brak w/ 300 miles on it and totaled my qaud..polaris paid for the balljoint.... did nothing for the 4200.00 in damages it did..

they had my quad for 3 months to "study it"..and in the end they ended up telling me thats what insurance is for.. i will never buy another popo just for that fact..

 

NOPE!!!!! Everything on the bike except the engine and transmission is not covered!!!!!! They suckered my wife. I'd like to go to the dealer and ball-kick the a-hole that sold my wife the 5 year warranty that doesn't cover anything.

The drivetrain is all that is covered on most extended warranties! Cars/trucks included. If there is factory defect it will show up in the 1st few hrs. of use.

YA RIGHT!!! i have worked for dodge for 11 years tell a customer that and see what you get..POLARIS has the WORST customer service i have vere had the displeasure to deal with..man thats funny..If there is factory defect it will show up in the 1st few hrs. of use.

Then you know what the Dodge warranty covers! 3/36 bumper to bumper then 7/70 drivetrain! Now lifetime? on what? drivetrain only?!?
Original post was about extended warranty and that it only covered drivetrain. thats right!
If there is a defect it will show up very quick! not 100k later.
