What is the strongest plow bracket for my Polaris 500? I have the glacier 2 plow system and i will be going on my second mounting bracket in as many months. i dont think i am abusing it in any way, in fact i just got it back with the new bracket and with 2 plowing sessions it is bending again. The system seems to have a weak spot in the plate between the last bolt and the front of the bracket.

 

I guess abusing is in the eye of the user. I have the 60 " plow on mine and feel like I have been abusing it pretty bad and haven't had anything bend. I have rammed some frozen snow piles pretty hard and hit some frozen lumps of dirt that have deflected my entire AtV to the side a couple of feet. I am plowing about 300 yards of gravel road.

 

Without being real familair with the plow set-up, could there maybe be some adjustments on the plow that need to be made?

 

maby something could be bolted on to tight or too loos causing stress. on my 500 scrambler if i tighten the end u bolts to much it bents the mounting bracket but i hit camper frames and teh ownly thing i bent was were the plow rotates and the corner of teh plow.

 

I just had a look at mine and it's bent a bit too.
