Default Vbike is here and assembled!!!!

Got the Vbike today. No shipping damage, so I am grateful!

I am very impressed so far for what I paid. I guess the long run performance will determine how I feel in the end, but this ATV appears to be of good quality.

Issues -

1) My headlights and tail/brake lights do not work. Everything appears to be connected.

2) The motors starts easy, runs, but has a high idle (seemingly way too high)

3) had a stripped screw or two but nothing that can't be fixed/replaced cheaply.

I'm REALLY pleased so far. I will change the oil and tighten everything up once more tomorrow. (I did use Loctite during assembly.)

I inverted my front wheels for a wider stance. I also noticed the rear wheels had no nuts for the bolts? I'll add some lock nuts to those for peace of mind.

I know it's early but these quads seem to be a good deal. I may end up learning a lot about doing my own wrenching. : )

Please feel free to offer tips and solutions!

Congrats on your new ride wow that was quick delivery.Glad to hear no damages.
You may want to consider a set of these for the rear of your bike.

I put them on my wifes and my bike and they work great. As far as the idle goes just dial it down to a nice purr and she'll be fine.
A couple of others on here had some wireing issuse I'm sure one of them will jump in and give you some advise,or you can call Tim and he will get you going in no time. Please post some pics when you get a chance.

I kinda enjoy tinkering with my sons 110cc quad. It has been a challenge to keep the thing going, but I gotta say it has been alot of fun. Mostly adjustments with a couple of repairs, but the parts were easy to get and CHEAP! The kid has a ball riding and that's what counts.

The parts availability is kind of what sold me on the Vbike. They're right there and you can see exactly what you're getting.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's the fly-by-night operations that give the Chinese machines their bad reputation. They are the ones who make the promises of support after the sale to make a quick buck and then disappear leaving you with an unsupported machine that you can't ride. Luckily, there are a so many universal parts on these machines and now several good internet businesses that are catering to these machines, the days of getting stuck with an expensive paperweight may be drawing quickly to a close.

Plus, the Chinese are starting to go after the big bore market as well. If they can keep the costs down and improve their parts availability/quality, look out Honda...etc!

Every time I put the bike in gear the RPMS go waaaaaay up. I get a decent idle but no way I can ride it like this.

Thoughts?

All lights are now working.

I am very perplexed and concerned by the RPM problems.

IF this is happening after you move the handle bars its probably the throttle cable binding on the steering shaft. A right hand turn would verify this.

No, it's just when I put it in gear.
