removing grips without ruining them

I loosen all controls from inside of grips and slide them inward. Then slide a skinny screw driver into grip from inside. Insert WD40 spray nozzle and spray. Do again on opposite side. Start twisting grip until it comes loose.

blow into the end with compressed air this will expand the grip and allow it to slip off. if there is a hole in the other end you must have someone hold their finger over the hole to prevent the air from coming out

i never really tried to get them off without cutting due to being hard to get off. easiest way would be to just cut them off. like edkatt said they are cheap.

Well, I would suggest the same program as old turtle, but I found using Berrymans (or any carb cleaner... brake cleaner works too) instead of WD-40 will leave the "sticky" on the inside of the grip where WD will leave oil. Just when you go to put them back on, give the inside of the grip another shot of spray to help it slide right on.... then she will be stuck back on like new!

WD40 will work, but I perfer to use gasoline in a squirt bottle. It doesn't leave an oily residue and create future grip issues. My wife wears contacts and the bottles the water comes in works great. I save them all because gasoline will melt the tips in time, so lay in an inventory. I use them for a lot of different things, thier great!
