First question is will it fit? Second question? well maybe not a queston as much as what do you think. I realized that the winch fairlead is now behind the brush guard. So pulling the plow straight up will now be impossible. What i was thinking was to pick up a second fairlead and mount it to the brush guard cross tube with 2 exhaust style u bolts. If anyone else has both a plow and brush guard on there SP and are useing the factory winch location, I would love to see some pics.

I would have to say it all depends on the angle that the rope(cable) will be on......Different plows have different points where the hook connects to the plow......I can get mine to work by running the rope behind the the top crossbar and in front of the bottom crossbar if I remember correctly because I have since taken the brushguard off for plowing season because at full angle left or right the plow hits the guard when it's fully lifted.....So the only thing I would suggest is that you'd have to change the point at which the hook connects to the plow to avoid the rope from hitting the crossbars or just take the guard off for plow season like I do.......It only takes 2 min and 4 bolts....

kinda on the same line as jcd, is saying when i transport my wheeler i have to run my cable the same way as he describes but it hits the back of the bar so i wouldnt want to have it there for very long as it would wear a hole in it or kill the cable. i would take the guard off as he said ifs going to hit.

 

i have the front brush guard with the glacier two plow and don't have any problems.

 

I also have a Glacier II on my 07 X2 with the brush guard. The cable misses the crossbar by about 1-1/2". Sweet set-up. However on my 06 700, I had the original Glacier, and the cable hit the brush guard hard, as I'm sure everyone knows. I fabricated a U-shaped bar that I bolted to each vertical side of the brush guard and hung a heavy duty pulley from to run the winch cable through. That worked really slick, lifted the blade straight up. Then after winter I'd just take it off.

I have the Moose plow and just remove the brush guard during plowing season.

 

I've got an 2004 sportsman with a bushguard and a glacier plow. I havent had any problems with it hitting or rubbing anywhere.

 

I have a 60" moose plow and just relocated the cable anchor point to the cross member right behing the plow to get enough clearance for the cable over the top of the brush guard tube. Just drilled a hole in the cross member and put in a large chain link to hook the winch hook. It works for me.
