Default Sportsman handleBar Grips

hey guys i took off my 08 grips from my 800 becuase they suck and replaced them with some off of an 05,

my question is what can be used to glue these on the handlebars so they dont come off? my left one stays on fine but my right one comes off in my hand while im turning.

ive used crazy glue and that failed.

thanks

you can get plugs that go in the end and they are like a rubber plug type thing when you tighten them up they squeeze the insde of the handle bar and they are bigger than the hand grip so they can't come off. that may not keep them from twisting. they are kind of neet lookng as well.

You can get grip glue at most dirt bike shops, but you should be able to clean the handle bars with brake cleaner to remove any residue, and clean the inside of the grips and slide them on with compressed air.

I'd rather be bald than stupid. LOL. Try the hair spray, it works. Spray the bar and the inside of the grip. You'll have trouble getting them off when you need to change them again.
