Just had bought a 04 yzf 450 and wanted to do the oil mod myself. So, I am wondering if anyone out there knows how.

 

Anyone know how to do this, or what needs to be done?

 

Look on e-bay for yfz 450 oil mod- there is a shop in michigan that will sell you all the 2007 oil mod parts plus they will modify your inner right side clutch case for $199.00- You don't have to split your cases and it all bolts in -They were real quick in modifying my case and shipping it back and its a snap to install- They provide the 2007 oil pump, oil squirter, oil pump snap ring and right side case gasket -You might order the crankshaft oil seal and the inner oil pump rotor from Yamaha to add to this also-
