My ATV is acting badly at high RPM or reverse is stalling and backfires. The maximum speed is 28KM/H?!?! and on the dash display doesn't show the gear you're in(R,N,D, etc) and ESP, D1 and D2 is blinking when you drive. The ignition seem to be fine, starts very well, idling steady.

pull the neg batt cable off off the batt, turn the ignition on (this drains the power from the CPU) wait 10 minutes with the ignition on and the neg cable removed. Turn ignition off, put cable back on the batt and if there are no mechanical damage or bad sensors this will fix your issue- if the issue returns you need to have the trouble code pulled from the quad and the broken sensor or part replaced.

 

The Rubicon re-sets the ESP everytime you cycle the ignition key on & off .. You have to count the number of flashes ..
