I am familiar with those machines and think highly of them . They are a durable unit .

Probably a great little unit. I had a Lakota 300 that I liked alot. Not good for here in New England where you need 4wd for mudholes and such. But the Bayou compares to the Honda Recon at a $700 savings. It is pretty bulletproof from what I have read.

Great unit! we have one and it handles everything we throw at it including a 70% incline in the mountains and mud on the trails

Thanks all for your opinions. The dealer always tells how great their machines are but what is bs and what is not is hard to weed out.
