Default YT 125 TRI-MOTO

Hello All,

I got this bike for cheap for my kids to ride before I get a good one. I had to clean out the carb and replace the pull start. I give the bike a good cleaning inside and out. I got the bike to Idle and run But for some reason the 125 while ridding. It spits and spudders about half throuttle. The 125 acts like its choking and spits and spudders. As soon as I let off the gas the bike runs great. Shifting gears also doesnt help. It happens in every gear. I think it might be getting to much gas or not. When I put my hand on the back of the carb to close off the air. It dies and my hand is like soaked in gas. Any Idea

thanks

sounds like it's flooding it's self out. try and adjust your floats in the carb bowl. i'm not sure what your float level is but i'm sure if you don't have a manual you could look it up on the net somewhere.

I've been looking on the net. So far no luck. The floats close off at level. I got a piece of tube and blew threw it and slowly closed the floats till there was no more air coming out of it (OLD TRICK IF YOU DONT HAVE A BOOK) Floats were level. Maybe I chould let them cut off a little sooner. I thought may needle on the slide might be the cause or gap on the points. I'll check on the net for float level maybe get a better range of options.
Thanks
